Delete your account

Request deletion of your Our Day account and data

This page explains how to permanently delete your account and associated data for the Our Day wedding planner app, developed by MYDAY DIGITAL (PVT) LTD. You can delete your account yourself inside the app, or request deletion by email — no need to keep the app installed.

Option 1 — Delete directly in the app (instant)

  1. Open the Our Day app and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings (from the home screen).
  3. Under Account, tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm. Your account and data are deleted immediately.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can no longer access the app, email us from the address you used to sign up:

Subject: Our Day — Account Deletion Request
Include: the email address of the account to delete

We will verify that the request comes from the account owner and complete the deletion within 30 days, confirming by email once it is done.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile (name, email, photo) and sign-in credentials;
  • Weddings you own, including budgets, expenses, tasks and notes;
  • Your guest lists, RSVP records and invitation pages (guest links stop working);
  • Photos and files you uploaded;
  • Your membership in weddings owned by others (their plans keep the content they own).

Data kept after deletion

  • Deleted data is removed from production systems within 30 days and from encrypted backups within 90 days.
  • We may keep a minimal record of your deletion request (date and email) where the law requires us to demonstrate compliance.

Note: uninstalling the app does not delete your account. Use one of the two options above. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
